He is survived by: his wife Myra Harper of Dinwiddie, VA; his children, Alice Rives, Earleen Ballard (Leo) of Chester, VA, Gail Hobbs (Rodney) of Petersburg, VA, Kim Fulton Of, Lloyd Green (Cheryl) of Petersburg, VA and Ervin Fulton (Lollita) of Texas; his sister Shirley Branch (Edward) of Petersburg, VA; his siblings-in-law, Kaiser Simmons (Melvina) of Petersburg, VA, Gerald Simmons of North Dinwiddie, VA, Michael Simmons of North Dinwiddie, VA, Claude Simmons, Jr. of North Dinwiddie, VA, Frenchie Miller of North Dinwiddie, VA and Renda Simmons of Wilson, NC; his nieces, Bertha Jones (Larry), Virginia Jeter and Barbara Harper; his nephew James Harper; his aunt Bertha Manson; his uncle Henry Jones, Jr. (Joyace); his grandchildren, Damon J. Ballard, Jene and Fulton; his cousins, Phil Walker and David; and his friends, Oscar Bonner, Orell Tatum, Calvin Batts, Theodore Wynn (Frog) and Jack Banes.
