It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reverend Barbara Hayes (Petersburg, Virginia), who passed away on September 23, 2019, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Hayes, Sr. and Annie Belle Booker Hayes; and her brothers, Ralph, Richard "Dick" Jr. and Alfus "Jack" Hayes.
She is survived by: her husband William Gee, Sr.; her son William Ellis Gee of Petersburg, VA; her sisters, Annie Evelyn Goodson (Tim) of Blackstone, VA, Mary Alice Hayes of Petersburg, VA and Louise Hayes of Georgia; and her niece Joyce Hayes Fowlkes. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
