She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Agnes Jones; her stepfather Ernest "Hat" Jones, Sr.; her grandparents, Willie and Laura Rowlett; and her siblings, Ernestine Crenshaw, Denise Pajela, Vera Mayfield, Laura Reid, Rita Epps, Thomas Akins and Carl Reid.
She is survived by: her close friend William "Virgil" Brooks; her daughter Cynithia Reid (Michael); her siblings, Ernest Jones, Jr., Earline Balthrop and Gail Reid; her nieces and nephews, Yolanda Garrett (Vincent), Latonya Hayes, Shandra Claiborne (Deron), Jenise Jones, Jasmine Jones, Tony Mayfield (Akida), William Hayes (Tabitha), Carlos Johnson, Jamar Mobley (Sheorn), Jeremy Mobley, Javon Jones and Jashawn Jones; her cousin Vicki Jones-Whitties; and her friends, Marjorie Cook-Gordon and Minister Sandra Cook-Rodgers. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
