He is survived by: his wife Maxine Ann McNew; his daughter Early Daisy McNew; his siblings, David McNew, Donald McNew, Connie Moody (David), Denise Adams (Walter), Lelia Jordan (Jay) and Rhonda Bowers; his nieces and nephews, Kiley, Breana, Colby McNew, Isabella McNew, Chaisce Miscioscia (John), David Moody (Abigail), Jason Jordan (Vera), John Jordan, Ashley Smith (Scott), Brett and Haley Bowers; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Micah McNew, Emerson, Samuel Miscioscia, Jaylen, Jackson Jordan and Riley Stanley; and his friends, Craig Young, Wynne Churn, Freddie Gray and Kenneth Smith.
