He was also cherished by twenty-seven grandchildren; thirty-nine great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; o ne sister, Thelma White; a devoted friend and caregiver, Charlotte Blowe; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
