We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2022, at the age of 96, Palmira Edith Berti (Petersburg, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Lucioli and Peter Lucioli; her sister Caroline (Enrico); and her niece Mary Ellen. She is survived by: her husband Enrico "Rico" Berti; her children, John (Shareene) and Mary Ellen; her grandsons, Peter (Becky) and Matthew; and her great grandchildren, Ellie and Jack. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Franciscan Bread for the Poor, NYC (stfrancisbreadline.org); the Audubon Society; or St Joseph Catholic Church, Petersburg VA (sjcpetersburg.com).
