She is survived by: her children, Preston Ruffin of Moultrie, GA, Brenda Ruffin of Cleveland Ohio, Tracie Ruffin of Hopewell, VA and Benjamin Ruffin, Jr. (Aretha) of Booneville, MS; her siblings, Juanita Wright of Moultrie, GA, Lula Mae Butler of Miami, FL, J. B. Butler of Moultrie, GA and Arlester Butler of Miami, FL; her children-in-law, Carl Powell and Carolyn Ruffin; and also Shemika Allen. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and thirty-six great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
