She was predeceased by: her parents, William Monroe and Edna Monroe; her children, Lucille, Mamie and Ernest Jr.; and her siblings, Edna E., Lena, Waverley, Edward and Mattie.
She is survived by: her children, Evelyn Gregory, Spencer Gregory, Wayne Gregory, Jacqueline Gregory and Adolpha Gregory (Janet); her grandchildren, Demonte Gregory (Wayne), Dareon Gregory (Wayne), Dreon Gregory (Jacqueline), Adelias Gregory (Adolpha) and Adavias Gregory; and her cousins, Esta Anderson and Raymond Monroe. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
