Batts; her son Arthur A. Robinson III (Pierre); her grandchildren, Steve A. Batts, Jr. (Paula) and Nicole S. Taylor; and her former husband Rev. Arthur A. Robinson, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Adrienne R. Batts, Anthony A. Robinson (Juanita), Angelique R. Walton (Mical) and Marian L. Obiegbu-Chima; her grandchildren, Tamara R. King (William), Apryll A. Robinson, Stuart A. Batts (Kathy), Kenni E. Robinson (Marlisa), Bryan R. Robinson (Krista), Shea A. Batts, Andrew M. Walton, Matthew D. Walton (Brigina), Brandis D. Gordon (Lutrell), Jordan P. Turner, Nnamdi A. Obiegbu-Chima and Amina N. Obiegbu-Chima; her great grandchildren, Robert D. Robinson, Gregory T. Peterson, Jr., Symone E. Batts, Tityana M. Robinson, Alexandra S. Batts, Christian R. Robinson, Nyasia B. Batts, Nysir T. Jones, Stephen A. Batts, Taylor D. Gordon, Kennedy N. Robinson, Jada A. Batts, Alanna L. Lassiter-Walton, Lilly D. Batts, Alexander D. Gordon, Makenzie E. King, Antoine D. Tucker Jr., Caiden J. Tucker, Eryn D. Gordon, Chantel M. Walton, Skylar D. Gordon and Malachi C. Walton; her great great grandchild La'vaeh K. Robinson; her stepsons, Walter M. Batts (Vonda), Douglas Batts and Roger Batts (Dishawn); her nieces, Karen Gilyard and JoAnn Parms; her great-nephew Leon Parms; and her siblings-in-law, John Batts, Samuel Batts (Rosyln), Emmanuel Batts, Sr. and Mary Alice Harwell. She is also survived by step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and family friends.
Throughout the pandemic, she refused to shelter-in-place and chose to "trust Jesus" to take care of her as she continued her monthly self-directed errands until recently.
In lieu of floral arrangements the family asks that donations be sent to her Greater Faith A.M.E. Zion Church in her memory.
