She was predeceased by: her parents, Roberta Carter and J. B. Vaughan; her brother Edwin Vaughan; and her nephew Clay Vaughan. She is survived by: her spouse Bond; her sister-in-law Alice Vaughan of Norfolk; and her grandsons, Derek and Troy Owen. She is also survived by three daughters, four younger nephews.
