He was predeceased by: his father Barry Suggs, Sr.; and his stepfather Randolph W. Hines Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Enitan Sherifat Idris; his daughter Tequilla Tremaine Suggs; his grandchildren, Jasmyn Akira Webb and Israel Lamont Johnson; his mother Lillie Mae Hines; his stepmother Lydia Young Suggs; and his siblings, Veda Suggs-Essilfie (Kofi), Barry Suggs, Jr., Randolph W. Hines, Jr., Paul Leslie Hines, Sr. (Stella), Paulette Hines Smith (Antonio), Tanika Tremaine Suggs and Clinton Jermaine Suggs (Shelly). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
