Gholson (Petersburg, Virginia), born in Dinwiddie, Virginia, who passed away on April 6, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gholson and Sylvia Tucker Gholson; and his siblings, Melvina Jackson, Elizabeth Wiggins and Robinett Gholson.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Reese Gholson; his daughters, Katisha Reese and Bonita Reese (Tyrell); his goddaughters, Takelia Mills and Kenya Daniels; his grandchildren, Shynita Reese, Ke'Shauni Burno, Ke'Asia Toliver, Tyrell Taylor, Jr., VyShawn Graves and VyQuawn Graves; his great grandchild J'Mariah Smith; his siblings, Mable Wilkerson of Sutherland, Josephine Gholson, Marie Fells of Petersburg, Juanita Mason (Linard) of Dinwiddie, Joseph Gholson and Ronette Gholson (Mary); his sisters-in-law, Charlotte Harper of Jacksonville, NC and Darlene Webb of Richmond, VA; his aunts, Catherine Williams and Gladys Hill; and his brother-in-law Harvey Mills. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
