He was predeceased by: his parents, Ella Mae Jackson Skinner and James Robinson; his sisters, Martha Ann Hobson and Patricia Ann Robinson; his nieces, Deborah Green, Angela Jordan and Gail Robinson; and his nephew James Robinson.

He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Ann Ray and Lorine Jordan; and his brother-in-law Raymond Hobson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
