She is survived by: her children, Ann Deliah Fitzgerald of Philadelphia, PA, Russell Fitzgerald of Philadelphia, PA, Linda Fitzgerald of Petersburg, VA., Stephanie McNeil (Olanza) of Petersburg, VA. and Wanda Taliaferro (Charles Sr.) of Petersburg, VA.; her grandchildren, Vonda Kaye Fitzgerald, Robert Hugo Fitzgerald IV (Ruby) of Houston, TX, Eric Fitzgerald of Wilmington, DE, Korey Fitzgerald (Donna) of Austin, TX, Charles Taliaferro, Jr. (Tiffany) of Petersburg, VA, Jessica Taliaferro of Petersburg, VA, Bryan Taliaferro of Charlotte, NC, Derrick McNeil (Javonna) of Smyrna, DE, Damon Ferrell of Norfolk, VA, Russell Cooper of Philadelphia, PA, Whitley Wilberk of Philadelphia, PA and Felicia Green of Petersburg, VA; her niece Karen Wyche; and her close friends, Shirley Peterson, Arnette Wheat and Rose Bland-Lee. She is also survived by twenty great grandchildren.
Affectionately known as Ms. Hibernia, she was the quintessential mother, who was the heart, foundation and the sweet music of this family.
