We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Herman A. Copeland (Petersburg, Virginia), born in Chesterfield, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul G. Copeland, Sr. and Ruth Jones Copeland; his daughter Shellye Copeland; his grandchildren, Dr. Daijha Anderson (Zachary) and Autumn Alston; his son Chris Copeland (Tiffany); his brother Paul "Tyke" Copeland; and his aunts, Edna Staats, Mildred McClenny, Joan Corbett and Jacquelyn Jordan.

He is survived by: his wife Gloria Jones.

In lieu of floral arrangement donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.

“Sorry for your loss brother. I can remember all of the sleepovers at your dads house. I always thought he was the coolest dad of all dads. We could never get over on your pops. He used to always tells us anything silly and mischievous that we were thinking about doing, he has done it 10 times over. I also remember that we used to hang off his biceps. I thought he was the strongest man ever. I remember he used to put onions and mustard in the eggs he cooked for us at breakfast. I thought it was wierd, but I think I liked it. And I know you remember when I busted my head open playing hide and go seek at your dads. Lol. He will be missed. You and your family are in our prayers. Love, Potsie and the Farrior family”
