He is survived by: his daughter Courtney Jones of North Carolina; his sisters, Tamara Boyd of Georgia and April Winston (Karon) of Petersburg; his uncles, James Johnson (Val) of Milwaukee, Lewis Johnson, Preston Lowery (Minnie) and Deacon James Lowery, Jr.; his stepmother Edna Lowery; his godsons, Brandon, Javon and DeAngelo Brown; his cousin Pastor Ronald Lowery (Dana); and his friend Yvonne Lewis. He is also survived by one nephew; a host of cousins, other relatives.
