Gloria Jacqueline Bowman, A.K.A Jackie, was born on May 5, 1947 in Waco, McLennan County Texas to Frank and Doris Cole. Gloria gave birth to and raised 4 beautiful children; Son, Claude Buckhalter and Daughters, Doris L. Buckhalter, Nicole D. Buckhalter and Kimberly M. Buckhalter. Gloria enjoyed helping people; which led her to working in the field of home health care where she worked for Mr. & Mrs. Ukrops for 15 years. Through her ups and downs in life, she was a strong woman who always sought to give and help others from the heart in any way she could. With a heart full of gold, she will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.
Gloria was preceded in death by her mother and father, Frank and Doris Cole, her brother Billy Gene Cole, her daughter, Nicole Denise Buckhalter, ex-husband and best friend, Claude Lee Buckhalter Sr.
Gloria will be leaving behind Son, Claude Lee Buckhalter Jr. (wife – Ricketa Buckhalter), Daughters, Doris Lashenda Buckhalter, Kimberly Marie Buckhalter, and Grandchildren, Pricilla Buckhalter, Elcid Buckhalter, Michelle Thomas, Kiashaye Tyler (wife - Fanaysha Tyler), Sharquetta Buckhalter, Tyvelle Washington, Andre’yana Martin, Aniyah Buckhalter, Devonte’ Cole, Quamaine Cole, Rico Buckhalter, Cameron Buckhalter and Great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Buckhalter, Joshua Buckhalter, Kiyon Thomas, Kalilah White.
