She is survived by: her children, Junior Person (Joann), Madeline Roach (George) and Ester Epps; her grandchildren, Milton Person (Chanta), Angela Gay (Dwight), Daniell Roach, Dr. Dontè Corey (Jerome) and Jasmine Epps; her great grandchildren, Milton "PJ", Desiree, Aaliyah, Kaleigha, Kai and Caden; her brothers, Walter Pettaway (Glorine) and Bobby Pettaway (Sharon); and her sisters-in-law, Rosa Mae Pettaway and Sara Pettaway. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
