He was predeceased by: his parent Shirlene Redwine Burrow of Virginia; his siblings, Brian "Head" Redwine and Tressy Redwine; his nephews, Justin "JC" Coleman, Jamel of Washington and Brian "Buck" Redwine; his grandparent Thomas; his aunts and uncles, Thomas, Robert "Bobby" Redwine, Dorothy Rouse, Annie Hill and Lula Goudeau; and his parent Shirlene Redwine Barrow.

He is survived by: his children, Brianna Redwine, Shaynica Robinson, Gary Redwine, Jr., Gariana Redwine and Justin Hargrave; his grandchild Aaliya Reed; his sisters, Pamela Coleman (Ronnie), Claudia Coleman (Wilford), Crystal Harris (Arthur), Angela Swanson (Andre) and Claudette Bowens (Willie); his uncle Joseph Joe Rouse; his aunts, Gloria Moss, Linda Redwine-Bell (Robert) and Wanda Redwine Taylor (Mark); his nieces and nephews, Martise Coleman (Latisha), Brandon Jones, Sharnell Coleman Miles (Dashawn), Alexis Redwine, Jasmine Redwine, Kimberly Coleman and Arkaylla Harris; and his close friend Patrick Drew (Randy Thomas). He is also survived by eight great nieces, and great nephews.
