With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Flora Spruill Ainsley of Petersburg, Virginia, who passed away on November 8, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas and Gladys Adelia Spruill; her husband James Mann Ainsley; and her brothers, Jimmy Carlton Spruill and Raymond Earl Spruill.
She is survived by: her children, J. Robert Ainsley (Donna), Nora Gail Ainsley and Joan A. Maitland; her grandchildren, Donna Olienyk (Patrick), Kathy Maitland Tanner, Edwin Maitland (Jennifer), Chris Foederer, Jessica Skeens (Jason) and Alyson Ainsley; her great grandchildren, Kyle, Claire, Rebecca, Rien, Eli and Aiden; and her siblings, Violet Bartley and Phillip Spruill. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
