She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Maye "Bubba Toe" and Virginia Brown Stewart; her daughter Starlettia Hayes; her stepfather Jerry Stewart; her brothers, Elmer Maye, James Maye, Arthur Maye and Robert Maye; and her son-in-law Calvin Baskerville.
She is survived by: her daughter Margaret Hayes-Baskerville; her grandchildren, Mandisa Hayes, Edward Hayes, Osirian Hayes (Nataiya), Emmanuel Hayes (Tiffany), Aaron Hayes (Trinique) and Marlon Whitfield (Brittney); her siblings, Eunice Briggs, Gladys Trotter (Calvin), Sylvia Maye, Elder Earl Maye (Esther) and William Maye; and her friends, Walter and Daisy Sykes. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
