He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bailey and Rosa Bailey. He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Ivan Bailey (Jackie Hinton); his granddaughter Rachel Avant (Travis); his daughter Brenda Bailey; his niece Gwendolyn A. Jones (Rudolph); his goddaughter Tammy Dawkins (Fitzroy); his nephew Cary D. Ferguson, Sr.; his sisters, Alfreda Jenkins (late Dan) and Novella Wooden (late Joseph Sr.); and his siblings-in-law, Reba M. Diggs (Raymond), Joyce E. Henderson (Lenneal) and Milton L. Wooden. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
