She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wade and Alease Wade; her husband Charles Lindberg Clarke, Sr.; and her daughter Lisa. She is survived by: her son Charles L. Clarke, Jr.; her brothers-in-law, Clyde Clarke (Beulah) and Clarence Clarke; her aunt Peggy Slaughter-Pulliam; her cousins, Doris Carroll of Virginia, Betty Cox of Virginia and Efelda 'Pat Hairston-Young of Pennsylvania; and her friends, Mary Carroll, Mary Epps and Bessie Dandridge. She is also survived by other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
