She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Allen Hamilton and Maude Hamilton; her son John Russell Houston III; her sisters, Ruth Fitzgerald and Phyllis Voorhees; and her grandchildren, John Russell Houston IV and Katrine Elizabeth Houston. She was also cherished by five great grandchildren; six nieces and three nephews.
