It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Thweatt (Petersburg, Virginia), who passed away on November 20, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her adoptive mother Maria Mason; her son Tyrone Eddy; her parent Nellie Short; her adoptive mother Marion Mason; her cousin Willie Mae Barber Baugh; her aunts, Mattie C. Barber, Hattie Sue Chamber and Mary S. Warren; her former husband Roosevelt Eddy; her parents-in-law, Thomas and Jessie Morgan; and her close friend Joyce Harrison.
She is survived by: her daughter Vanessa D. Eddy of Prince George, VA; her cousins, Deacon Eric R. Barber (Elsie) of Petersburg, VA and Florence Jones Clark of Petersburg, VA; and her friends, Peter Brown of Chesterfield, VA, Jones of Chesterfield, VA, Sheila F. Brown of Chesterfield, VA and Sarah Greenerl (Jerome) of Petersburg, VA.
In lieu of floral arrangements the request that donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
