He is survived by: his parent Mary Hall Stryker Betts; his children, Mary "Bee" Betts and Morris Betts, III (Stacey); his grandson Zachary Wilson Reeves; his sister Betsy B. Lang (Hunter) of Charlottesville; his sister-in-law Jean Baxter Spivey of Petersburg; and his friend Ellen Moyer.
