He is survived by: his wife Patsy Ann Elliott; his children, Pam Anderson (Bob), Tori Colb (Mike) and Staci Hartman (Eric); his stepchildren, Charles Buckner Palmer III (Natascha) and Elisabeth Dawn Palmer; and his brother Larry Elliott (Margaret).
