She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Pollard; her granddaughter Shannon Pollard of Richmond, VA; her son Chester Ellis (Vickie) of Triangle, VA; her siblings, Richard Adkins (Sonja) and Margie Myrick; her sisters-in-law, Doris Adkins of Petersburg, VA, Marian Adkins of Petersburg, VA, Bessie James (Harold) of Petersburg, VA and Lorraine Waddy of Washington, DC; her close friends, Nita Parham Edmonds and Betha Dubois; and her friends, Gloria Walker and Bernice Newby. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren.
