He was predeceased by: his parents, Deacon Ralph L. Baker and Deaconess Nancy G. Baker; his siblings, James Gholston and Ethel Mae Blizzard; and his mother-in-law Ethel Morse.

He is survived by: his wife Gladys Morse Baker; his children, Robert Lee Morse, Jr. and Shawneeque Holloway Glass; his aunts, Rebecca Shaw and Ethel Shaw (Thurman); his uncle Morris Baker; his cousins, Leornard Walker, Deacon Gustino "Gus" Walker and Phillip Edwards; and his great-nephew Marlo (Keanna). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
