He is survived by: his daughter Sophia Lee Harris; his stepfather Calvin Jenkins; his siblings, Celestine Epps Chamblis (Philip), Deborah Harris Adams (Paul), Gwendolyn Henderson and Mandel V. Harris (Cynthia); his nephews, John T. Epps, Cedric Harris, Emmanuel Crenshaw and Marcus B. F. Gamboa; his great-nephew Cameron A. T. Moore; his great-niece Chloe M. Moore; his aunt Lillian Epps; his great-aunts, Hazel Banks and Ellen Jones; his uncles, Willie Harris (Bernice), George Shaw (Maxine) and Garland Saunders (Marie); and his close friend Jerome. He is also survived by cousins, other relatives, and friends.
