He is survived by: his wife Mary Pegram; his children, Shawntae of Petersburg, VA, Michelle of Petersburg, VA, Krystle of Petersburg, VA, Sade of Petersburg, VA, Terra of Petersburg, VA, Tosha of Petersburg, VA, Keshia of Petersburg, VA, Twanda (Reshon) of Fayetteville, NC and Curtis; his mother-in-law Barbara Johnson of Pittsburgh, PA; his stepfather James Lofton, Jr. of South Chesterfield, VA; his siblings, Dorothy Monroe of Sumter, SC, Janet Wilkerson of South Chesterfield, Kim Lofton (Theresa) of Fayetteville, NC, Roger Pegram (Shirley) of Petersburg, VA, James of South Chesterfield, VA and Roderick Lofton of South Chesterfield, VA; his siblings-in-law, Cheryl (Andre) of Pittsburgh, PA, Quinzetta of Pittsburgh, PA, Michele of Pittsburgh, PA, Barbara Johnson of Pittsburgh, PA and Paul Johnson (Kim) of Pittsburgh, PA; and his aunts and uncles, Ethel Glenn of Petersburg, VA, Arnita Walker of Fayetteville, NC, William Jackson (Mary) of Petersburg, VA, James of Petersburg, VA and Cornelius Thomas of Petersburg, VA. He is also survived by several grandchildren too numerous to name; one great grandchild.
Curtis will be remembered for his volunteer work and faithful donations to the St. Jude's Hospital and being a founder of an education scholarship to support the community youth.
