He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Woodson Williams and Walter D. Woodson; his siblings, Tyrone Woodson, Rose Morris, James Michael Woodson and Mary Wiggins; his niece Nicki Brewer; and his brother-in-law Paul Wiggins.

He is survived by: his son Corey Proctor; his grandchildren, Corey Proctor, Jr. and Chloe Proctor of Augusta, Georgia; his siblings, Evelyn Morgan, Miss Evane Woodson of Petersburg, VA, Walter Woodson of Sacramento, CA and Priscilla Brown (Dennis) of Stone Mountain, GA; his friends, Mary Anderson and Tommy Lee; and his close friend Diane Britt. He is also survived by 22 nieces and nephews, 19 great nieces and nephews.
