She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Monroe, Charles Pettaway (Nancy), Jennifer Monroe, Hope Monroe and Theresa Monroe; her siblings, Robert Pettaway (Ruth), David Pettaway, Randolph Pettaway, Delores May (Peter) and Mary Pettaway (James Diggs); her sisters-in-law, Geraldine Hunt, Okie Monroe, Lorraine Reese and Alice Taylor; and her niece Marie Sykes. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
