He is survived by: his close friend Charlotte Parker; his children, Larvett (Clinton) of Petersburg, April (Melvin) of North Carolina, Montrel (Shantel), Cory and Jasmine (Jakal) of Petersburg; his grandchildren, Te'Shawn of Petersburg, C'Niyah of Petersburg, Me'Asia of Richmond, Amir of North Carolina, Jay and Annah of Petersburg; his siblings, Gloria Smith of Petersburg, Helen Thompson of Florida, Margaret English of Pennsylvania and Bert Smith, Sr. (Brenda) of Petersburg; his aunt Rosa Archer of Florida; his stepdaughter Shemika (Jason) of Petersburg; his goddaughter Erica Ivey of North Carolina; his niece Angela Gay (William) of Chester; and his close friends, Marlo Watts, Willie Cooke, William Robinson and Van Story Richardson.
