It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Christine B. White (Petersburg, Virginia), who passed away on November 4, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Bonner and Alma Bonner of Dinwiddie County; her significant other Deacon Melvin N. White; her brother Norman Bonner Sr.; her grandson Kevin Lewis; her nephews, Norman Bonner, Jr. and Glenn Bonner; and her niece LaTasha Bonner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Grant (John), Theresa Manns, Barbara Lewis (Kenneth) and Stephanie Blackwell (Paul); her grandchildren, John Grant Jr. (Unishea), Latisha Flowers (Derrick), Nikita, Kristi Kelso, Kenneth Lewis Jr., Christine Slaughter and Jaylen Sloan; her great grandchildren, Jayla Grant of John Grant, III, Derrick Flowers and Delaney Flowers; her brothers, Ben J. Bonner (Pauline) of Petersburg and Paul Bonner (Jean) of Washington, DC; and her sisters-in-law, Virginia Wood of Cave City, KY and Elizabeth White of Ft. Washington, MD. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives and very dear friends.
Public viewing will be Monday, November 9, 2020 from 10:00 A. M. - 8:00 P. M. A face mask/covering will be required while attending all services and viewings.
