He is survived by: his son Charles Wesley Allen, Sr. (Venita) of Chester; his wife Mary Young Allen of Dinwiddie, Virginia; his son Michael A. Allen I (Jebba); his siblings, Thomas Allen, Jr. (Doris), Wilbert Lee Allen (Mary) of Petersburg, Virginia, Carolina Thomas of Paterson, Inez Thomas of Waverly, Eva Fields (Alexander) of Disputanta, Valanda Reese (Herman) of Petersburg and Shirley Allen (Joseph) of Sutherland, Virginia; his uncle Bobbie Pettaway of Hopewell, Virginia; and his grandchildren, Michael L. Clarke Jr. of Chester, Martavis T. Clarke of Varina, Michael A. Allen, II of Prince George, Virginia, Alexus V. Allen of Dallas and Ashanti Allen of Prince George, Virginia.
Charles suffered many years with dementia, Alzheimer's, and other medical conditions.
