It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles E. Tyler (Petersburg, Virginia), born in Pocahontas, Virginia, who passed away on November 9, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sr. Tyler and Lucille Hannon Tyler; and his siblings, Mildred Wyatt and Bobby Smith. He is survived by: his wife Regina Barnett Tyler; his sons, Evan, Aaron and Chuck Tyler; his stepson Che Braxton; his goddaughter Kimberly Ferguson; his siblings, William "Bill" Tyler (Tracie), Gerald Smith and Betty Jordan; his siblings-in-law, Zella Barnett, Stanley Barnett III and Michael Barnett; his aunt Ella Hannon Davis; and his cousin Dorothy Hannon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
