He is survived by: his daughter Sylvia Newby (Terry) of Woodbridge, VA; his grandchildren, Mahoghany Malden of Petersburg, Te Quante Malden and Tavarea Malden of Woodbridge, VA; his great grandchildren, Kyrell Malden and Ki'Ari Malden-Scott of Petersburg; his brothers, Rufus McNair of Petersburg, Larry McNair (Alice) of Chesterfield, Jeffrey McNair of Petersburg, Tyrone McNair (Felicia) of Newport News, VA and Michael McNair (Lucille); and his close friends, Thomas Branch and Butch Johnson of Petersburg.
