Barry Lee Kirkland Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barry Lee Kirkland (Petersburg, Virginia), who passed away on May 10, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace A. Whitmore (Edward Whitmore) and Leroy Kirkland. He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Kirkland of Savannah, GA and Kory Kirkland of Charlottesville, VA; his grandson Kody Kirkland of Albuquerque, NM; his brother Edward "Buddy" Whitmore Jr. (Beverly) of Prince George, VA; and his nieces, Lindsay W. White (Mike) of Richmond, VA and Carrie W. Clary (Ben) of Disputanta, VA. He is also survived by many other extended family members, numerous friends, and neighbors.
