She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ann Goode Dean and John T.; her siblings, Tressa, Lester T., Johnny A., Howard, James and Harry Dean; and her great grandchild Cherelle Walker.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Chambliss, Gloria Walker, Horace Alvin and Howard Glen Walker (Vanessa); her grandchildren, Tameka Weaver (Doug), Rocquia Fauntleroy (Kurtis), Orji Brown (Morgan), Aaron Walker (Gigi), Laconia Walker, Latoya Walker, Solita Green (Delvin) and Gowan Walker; her siblings, Serena Curtis (John), Selena Dean, Robert Dean (Bernice) and Joseph Dean; and her cousin Liza Gholson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
