She was predeceased by: her husband Robert E. Newcomb; and her parents, Anna and Scott of Northampton County, NC.. She is survived by: her daughter Beverly Newcomb Butler; her son-in-law Charles Randall Butler; her grandson Brandon Scott Newcomb Butler; and her sister Pauline Scott Ogburn (Debbie Ogburn Smith). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory (2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 12:30 PM and at 1:00 PM.
