It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew Farrar (Petersburg, Virginia), who passed away on October 13, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Dr. Angela LaVonia Farrar; his parents, Albert Farrar and Elizabeth Merritt Farrar; and his siblings, Annie Belle Moseley and Albert Franklin Farrar.
He is survived by: his wife Mavis W. Farrar; his siblings, Audrey F. Clayton, Annette Dudley Reeves and Arthur Merritt Farrar (Elizabeth); his siblings-in-law, Verline Farrar and David Moseley, Sr.; and his goddaughters, Dawn Jones of Prince George, VA and Angela Freeman of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by six nephews, five nieces, one great nephew, and one great niece.
