He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Roy and Lucille Walker Roy; his siblings, Carol Ann Roy, Ronald Walker Roy and Kenneth E. Roy; and his aunt Lottie Bell Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Dr. Rosezelia Weaver Roy; his children, Anthony Bryon Roy and Amanda Karol Roy-Bostic; his grandsons, Samson J. C. R. Tuiolosega, Wesley Alexander Bostic and William Alfred Bostic; his brothers, Jerry S. Roy (Brenda) and Reginald K. Roy (Michelle); his parents-in-law, Nathaniel and Carleasse Blackwell; and his godchildren, DeGeon Bradley and Kareem James.
He was a Blandford Chapel Trustee, a member of the Blandford First Foundation and a founding member of The Monsieur Club.
