She is survived by: her husband Curtis Brooks; her son Curtis Brooks; and her siblings, William Jr., Bobbie Mullins of Pennington Gap, VA, Mary Eldridge of Sparta, NC and Shirley Hopkins of Pennington Gap, VA.. She is also survived by three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
