He was predeceased by: his parents, William Grant, Sr. and Ethel Morefield; his sister Mary Ethel Morefield; and his brother-in-law Gerald Cook. He is survived by: his siblings, John Arthur Morefield (Theresa) of Jonesville, VA, Janice Sue Morefield Hoskins (Don) of Woodway, VA, Ruby Faye Morefield Cook (Larry) of Mooresburg, TN and Elizabeth Kay Morefield Cook of Mooresburg, TN. He is also survived by several niece, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
