She was predeceased by: her father Bobby Hines; and her grandparents, Harry, Maurine Hines, Lee and Clara Powers.
She is survived by: her husband David Sword; her mother Sandy Hines of Jonesville, VA; her daughter Hailee Mann of Pennington Gap, VA; her grandchildren, Eli, Ariana, Harper and Braxton; and her brothers, Rob Hines (Rebecca) of Jonesville, VA, Shawn Hines (Summer) of Jonesville, VA, Chris Hines (Reba) of Jonesville, VA and Tyler Tindell.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Lee County Public Schools in memory of Wendy Hines Sword for the Addiction and Substance Abuse Program.
