He is survived by: his parents, Irvin Brooks and Trula Brooks; his wife Katherine Elizabeth Brooks; his children, Laura Weber (Jake), Jacob Brooks, Matthew Barton, Andrew Barton (Lauren) and Aaron Barton; his grandchildren, Elliott and Wrenley Mae; and his sister Karen Mullins (Jim). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
