She was predeceased by: her husband William Tobias Hughes; her parents, Benjamin Carroll and Nellie Mae Carroll; and her siblings, Ruby Jean McGill, Louise Taylor, Mabel Moon and Franklin Carroll.
She is survived by: her children, James Louis Swain (Patricia), Mark Douglas Hughes (Tracy), Sharon Kay Swain McDevitt and Joyce Ann Swain Bales (John); her stepdaughters, Patsy Davis, Joyce Pickering and Lois Hinkle; and her sister Polly Jean Davis.
Due to covid-19 state regulations, those attending the visitation and funeral are asked to wear masks/facial covering. Social distancing guidelines will also be in place.
