It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Randy L. McAlister of Pennington Gap, Virginia, born in Saint Charles, Virginia, who passed away on September 14, 2021, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Lue Vernie McAlister (McCann); and his brothers, Billy Joe McAlister and Jesse Allen McAlister. He is survived by: his wife Leslie McAlister (Vaughn); his son R. J. McAlister; his father David McAlister of Jonesville, VA.; his sisters, Mary Jones (Danny) of Rogersville, TN., Evelyn Kerns (Steve) of Duffield, VA. and D. J. McAlister of Jonesville, VA.; and his nephew Christopher Lawson (Rebecca) of Duffield, VA.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, close relatives and friends.
