He was predeceased by: his grandparent Ham Hartley (Amanda Hartley); his parents, Raymond Calvin Hartley and Willie Leona Jenkins Hartley; and his brother Maurice "Ress" Lynn Hartley. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Mary "Libby" Freeman Hartley; his niece Chrissy Tia Withers; and his nephew Dustin Maurice Hartley. He is also survived by many cousins, other family and very special friends.
